Non-lucrative or Passive Income visa is given to non-EU citizens and their family members to live in Spain with their own economic means. However, it doesn’t allow any type of economic activity that will affect the Spanish market. Non-lucrative visa is not a working permit.

Sufficient economic means to apply for a Non-Lucrative visa is 2,260 €/mo or 27,115 €/year

It is initially issued for 1 year and you can renew it for 2-year periods. Along with the main applicant, a spouse or children may be added.

How can we obtain you the visa?

1.Gathering of documentation

We provide you with a list of documents to gather and review them as you do so, to make sure, as much as possible, that they are accepted by the authorities.

2. Application at the Spanish Embassy/Consulate

Once the documents are completely gathered, you will be able to submit them in front of the Spanish Embassy or Consulate. The place is assigned to you according to your country of origin. The legal term for the Administration to resolve is 3 months.

3. Relocation to Spain

Once the application has been approved, you will be granted a VISA allowing you to travel to Spain as a resident.

4. Application of the Foreigner’s Identity Card

As a final step, you will need to register at the Town Hall of your city. This step is important to apply for the Foreigner’s Identity Card (TIE).

Google review about Non-lucrative visa

“I’m so glad I found this law firm! I spoke with multiple law firms to determine who to go with and they were the fastest at responding and handled my non-lucrative visa for Spain from Canada with incredible speed and professionalism.

Once I received it, they also followed up and helped with my documents once I reached Spain. Fantastic experience, they are always going above and beyond and I highly recommend them! Thank you, Max, David and the team!”

I feel compelled to write this review after my correspondence with the team. This is certainly a law firm with a difference that is devoted to its clients. They attended to all my needs and queries with utmost diligence and professionalism.

They did more than just exceed my expectations. Lexidy’s team have set up a service standard that I am afraid other firms may not be able to match! Those lawyers have become my go-to legal advisors. My case was fraught with complications and they patiently unravelled those until I had clarity and peace of mind. They are a firm with a heart that I am deeply thankful to.

I used Lexidy to get my Spanish residency card. I was not looking forward to the process as my Spanish is not great. But Lexidy made it so fast and east for me. Federico and Laura and Cristina were so professional and efficient and nice.
A pleasure to deal with. Would definitely highly recommend them.
